any normal thing. Your heart will drop as you search for answers and clues and
discover the truth of what really happened to HER!
Background
This game concept has
core elements on what a survival horror game should be like and what really
scares you the players. This game is based off games such as Silent Hill 2
which has many mechanics of how to scare a player senseless. Has the feel of
the original Resident Evil games, where you have to figure out how to get to another
place to progress to the next part of the level, and find clues along the way.
The Dead Space feeling of hearing ambient noises around you, then looking to
see what it is and nothing is there. Then things jumping out at you and
disappear into thin air. This game will have the core elements of a great
horror game.
Description
You the player, play as
a 28 year old man named John Hardway. He has recently lost his wife in a weird
and unexpected accident that no one has yet to figure out. It starts out with John
(You the player) at a campsite with some friends, trying to get over his wife
and move on and have some fun. John and his friend end the night with some
laughter and good memories of old times in high school. Then in the middle of
the night John hears a eerie sound coming from the camp site. He comes out the
tent to realize all his friend are not there. Then to see writing on a tree in
blood reading “ELENA” which is John’s wife. You the player follow a foggy path
into the forest, with eerie sounds and the feeling as if someone if watching
you. At the end of the path you see an old abandoned church, with the doors
wide open. You decide to walk into the church, as you do you see people in the
pews just sitting there. Then you walk up to the pews and realize the people
are all dead rotted corpses. At this point you decide if this is a dream or reality.
Then as you are checking the pews you notice something on the cross you try to
get closer, as you do you stand there in shock to see your best friend
crucified to the cross. The doors slam behind you and gates slam up and
surround the alter so you can’t get in. At this point you are wondering what is
going on and what does this have to do with Elena. You turn around to go to the
door and try to get out of here when it reads “No Way Out”. This is where you
start to panic and start looking for a way out. You search each room which has
many traps around it designed to kill, when you pass these traps, you have to
hit a switch in which it unlocks one of the gates surrounding the alter and the
way to your friend. When you release all the switches, you go up to the cross
and realize that your friend is dead. Then you see an arrow pointing down to a
latch behind the podium of the alter; you enter the basement at this point. In
which you travel down this dark hallway. As you walk down it the lights start
to flicker, then they shut off, you hear a screeching noise. The light flicker
back and forth and you see a figure which disappears right away. You go to the
door and open it, turn on the light and see a huge maze of traps going along
this massive basement. You pass all these traps, then get to the graveyard in
which you see this Hooded figure holding what appears to be a person, so you
have to get around the rocks rolling down towards you to get the hooded figure. Which reveals to you the answers you been
looking for?
